Being Here Now, LLC dba/ Authentic Masculinity Project (the “Company”) respects the privacy concerns of the users of its websites, www.beingherenow.com, authenticmasculinityproject.com, and all related services provided therein (collectively, the “Sites”). The Company thus provides this privacy statement to explain what information is gathered during a visit to the Sites and how such information may be used.

Your use of the Company’s services and these sites are also governed by those of Kajabi, LLC, a California limited liability company. Please also review the Kajabi® website Terms of Use at https://newkajabi.com/policies/terms/ and Privacy Policy which also govern use of these Sites.

1. WEBSITES AND SERVICES COVERED

This Privacy Policy applies to all Company websites and services including:

2. USE OF INFORMATION

As a general policy, no personally identifiable information, such as your name, address, or email address, is automatically collected from your visit to the Sites. However, certain non-personal information is recorded by the standard operation of the Company’s internet servers. Information such as the type of browser being used, its operating system, and your IP address is gathered in order to enhance your online experience.

The Sites’ various mailing lists, downloads, special offers, contests, registration forms, surveys, and program applications may request that you give us contact information such as your name, mailing and/or email address, demographic information such as your age and gender, and personal preference information such as your interests and goals. When you enroll in programs, purchase digital products, or engage in coaching services, we may collect additional information including:

Participant Privacy Protection

The Company maintains the highest standards of confidentiality regarding all participant and client information. We implement comprehensive measures to protect:

Personal Identity Protection: Participant names, contact information, and participation in programs are kept strictly confidential. We do not share participant lists, participation records, or individual progress information with any third parties except as required by law.

Content Confidentiality: All content shared by participants in private Facebook groups, coaching sessions, live calls, and written communications is treated as confidential information. The Company maintains strict policies regarding the protection of participant-generated content and personal sharing.

Professional Boundaries: While Scott Austin Martin is a Licensed Professional Counselor, all AMP services are educational and coaching-based, not therapeutic. However, the same standards of confidentiality that apply to professional counseling relationships are maintained for all participant interactions and information.

Community Confidentiality Standards

All participants of AMP communities agree to maintain confidentiality regarding other participants’ participation and shared information. This includes agreements not to:

  • Share screenshots or recordings of private group content
  • Discuss other participants’ personal information outside the community
  • Use participant information for any commercial or personal purposes
  • Breach the trust and safety of the community environment

Violations of community confidentiality standards result in immediate removal from all programs and communities without refund.

4. DATA SHARING AND THIRD PARTIES

Personally identifiable information is never sold or leased to any third parties. With your permission, we may use your contact information to send you information about our company and products. You may always opt-out of receiving future mailings as provided below.

The Company may share information with business and promotional partners only in aggregated, non-personally identifiable formats for the purpose of improving our services and understanding our audience better.

Required Disclosures

The Company may disclose user information in special cases when we have reason to believe that disclosing this information is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be causing injury to or interference with the Company’s rights or property, other users of the Sites, or anyone else that could be harmed by such activities.

  • BookFunnel for digital book and eBook delivery
  • Facebook/Meta for community groups and live streaming
  • Zoom for video conferencing and live sessions
  • Stripe for secure payment processing
  • Email service providers for communication and marketing
  • Analytics services for website performance and user experience improvement

Each of these services has their own privacy policies and terms of service that govern their collection and use of your information.

6. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

The Company recognizes the special obligation to protect personally identifiable information obtained from children age 16 and under. AS SUCH, IF YOU ARE 16 YEARS OLD OR YOUNGER, THE COMPANY REQUESTS THAT YOU NOT SUBMIT ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION TO THE SITES OR TO THE COMPANY. If the Company discovers that a child age 16 or younger has signed up on the Sites or provided us with personally identifiable information, we will delete that child’s identifiable information from our records.
